We repeat these words with deep gratitude to the Egyptian people for their unwavering support and solidarity during our time of hardship. For us, coffee is more than a daily ritual , it is a bridge that connects hearts and creates spaces of safety and genuine connection.
As part of our ongoing series “Every Cup Has a Story,” Al-Gad Foundation for Development and Relief organized a gathering titled “A Syrian Cup of Coffee with an Egyptian Flavor” on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in collaboration with psychologist Ms. Dania Al-Halabi. The session is part of an initiative that aims to foster cultural dialogue and strengthen the bonds between the Syrian and Egyptian communities.
The meeting welcomed ten women from the Egyptian community, who engaged in heartfelt discussions about everyday challenges, the sources of strength and balance women draw upon amid change, and the shared values and beautiful traditions that unite our two communities.

“A picnic day for Breast cancer fighters brings joy to their hearts”.
On Sunday, November 23, 2025, in the Obour city .
Al-Gad Foundation for Development and Relief organized a picnic
day for the Breast cancer fighters of Baheya Foundation, targeting 60 women, as part of the foundation's plan to provide Mental health support for women .
The day included various activities, such as:
• A skirt show
• Egyptian folklore
• Handicraft activities such as macramé, painting, and leatherwork
The aim was to give participants the opportunity to express themselves and enjoy moments of relaxation.

“A Journey of Hope and Joy for Baheya Warriors during Breast Cancer Awareness Month”
Al-Gad Foundation for Relief and Development organized a special recreational trip for the brave women of the Baheya Foundation, in celebration of Pink October Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The initiative brought together 50 inspiring women Baheya warriors whose resilience, optimism, and determination to continue their healing journey filled the day with positivity and hope.
It was a joyful and heartwarming occasion that blended happiness, encouragement, and appreciation for these remarkable women who embody strength and perseverance.

“Unbreakable Bonds” to Support Palestinian Children in Collaboration between Al-Gad Foundation and PCRF.
Al-Gad Relief and Development Foundation, in collaboration with PCRF, organized an event for Palestinian children and their families under the title “Unbreakable Bonds.” The event brought together 350 participants, including 200 children, as part of the foundation’s plan to provide mental health for children affected by the wars, on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
The event included a wide range of entertaining activities that added joy and excitement, including interactive competitions such as:
A clown performance that brought smiles to the children’s faces.
A Palestinian Dabke performance that revived Palestinian heritage, with great interaction from children and their families.
Henna painting on the children’s hands.
Collaborative coloring of a commemorative mural.
Decorating the Palestinian flag using balloons and colors.
"Palestinian motifs prevailed in the decorations, strengthening the children’s sense of belonging to their homeland."
In the end of the day, gifts were distributed to all participating children, spreading joy and leaving lasting smiles in their hearts.

Event entitled "Sudanese Carnival" in Al Obour city .
Al-Gad Foundation for Development and Relief organized an event entitled "Sudanese Carnival" in Al Obour city , bringing together 550 women and children from Sudanese families, as part of its efforts to promote cultural and social communication.
The event included a series of distinctive artistic and heritage performances and Sudanese dances presented by the students of Miftah El Ouloum School, reflecting the beauty and originality of Sudanese culture, as well as entertainment shows for children that included doll customs and clowns, which added an atmosphere of joy to the audience.

.Visit to the Baheya Foundation for Early Detection & Treatment of Breast Cancer in the Haram Area
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Al-Gad Foundation for Development and Relief visited fifty women warriors battling breast cancer at Baheya foundation in Al Haram area. The initiative came as part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness, foster social inclusion within the Egyptian community, and embody the values of human compassion and social solidarity.
During the visit, food vouchers and cards with pieces of chocolate and uplifting messages were distributed to offer emotional and psychological support to these courageous women.
It was a day filled with generosity, hope, and heartfelt connection our greatest joy was seeing smiles light up their faces.
We firmly believe that true support goes beyond words; it lies in genuine action and sincere participation. Human generosity is the bridge that connects communities and strengthens the shared values of solidarity and compassion.

The “Unbreakable Bonds” activity was organized in cooperation with the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) in the Shorouk area.
Al-Gad Foundation in collaboration with PCRF organized a special event for Palestinian children titled “Unbreakable Bonds.”
The event brought together 300 participants, including 210 children, and featured a wide array of entertaining activities that created an atmosphere of joy and excitement. Children enthusiastically took part in interactive competitions, while a dazzling Tanoura performance captivated the audience with its vibrant colors and energy. A clown show added laughter and smiles to the children’s faces, and a traditional Palestinian Dabke performance brought heritage to life, evoking a sense of pride and cultural connection among the children and their families.
The celebration also included henna art for the children’s hands and cheerful face painting.
At the end of the day, gifts were distributed to all children, leaving lasting smiles on their hearts.

A psychosocial support session for Eritrean women titled “A Syrian Cup of Coffee with an Eritrean Flavor.”
“Every cup of coffee has a story” it is not merely a drink we sip, but a ritual that carries in its aroma the stories of nations, the warmth of memories, and a longing for days that were simpler and more peaceful. Around coffee, stories begin, threads of understanding are woven, and safe spaces for dialogue and connection are created.
Within this context, Al-Ghad Foundation organized a psychosocial support session for Eritrean women titled “A Syrian Cup of Coffee with an Eritrean Flavor” on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in collaboration with psychologist Ms. Dania Al-Halabi as part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to empower women and strengthen their psychosocial well-being.
The session brought together 15 participants and included open dialogue discussions addressing the challenges of integration and coping mechanisms in a new environment, alongside an exchange of cultures and traditions between the Syrian and Eritrean communities. The meeting was given a warm humanitarian touch through a video presentation showcasing key landmarks from both countries, which helped foster mutual understanding and cultural respect.

A psychosocial support session for Sudanese women titled “A Syrian Cup of Coffee with a Sudanese Flavor.”
“Every Cup of Coffee Tells a Story”… a title steeped in warmth and nostalgia, echoing the beauty of days gone by days when life flowed peacefully, untouched by the shadows of war and conflict. Today, as we gather around our coffee, we rekindle the threads of love and connection, for within every cup lies a story waiting to be told.
As part of this ongoing series of support, Al-Gad Foundation organized a mental and social support gathering for Sudanese women under the theme “A Syrian Coffee with a Sudanese Flavor,” in collaboration with psychologist Dania Al Halabi, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. This initiative falls within the foundation’s broader efforts to empower women and strengthen their social and psychological well-being.
The session brought together 12 participants, offering practical psychological guidance on navigating challenges and fostering integration within the community. It also created a safe space for open dialogue, where participants exchanged stories, cultural traditions, and reflections on the similarities and differences between Syrian and Sudanese cultures. The gathering was further enriched by a short film showcasing iconic landmarks from both countries a heartfelt gesture that deepened the spirit of understanding, closeness, and shared humanity

A “Magic for Smile” event in collaboration with magician Jimmy for Palestinian children.
Al-Gad Foundation organised a special activity targeting 17 Palestinian children between the ages of 9 and 15, as part of the Foundation's plan to provide Mental health support to children affected by wars.
This activity followed the "Magic for Smiles" event, organized in cooperation with magician Jamie Jibbrish, where the children had a experience in learning some of the magic tricks , in an atmosphere of interaction, surprise and pleasure.
The day ended with the distribution of gifts to children, in moments full of smiles that remain in memory

An activity titled (Together is Better) for Palestinian children in the 6th of October area.
In a joyful and cheerful atmosphere, Al-Gad Relief Foundation organized a special recreational event for Palestinian children living in the Faisal, Haram, and October areas. The event, held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, was part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to provide mental health support to children affected by war.
Around 200 participants took part in the event, including 150 children who enjoyed a variety of fun-filled activities such as puppet shows, clown performances, and interactive games that brought smiles to their faces and joy to their hearts. The event also welcomed a delegation from the Japanese Embassy, along with Indonesian and Malaysian students, adding a unique cultural dimension to the day through shared moments of solidarity and connection with the children.

ALGad Relief Foundation signed a cooperation agreement with Terre des Hommes (TDH).
In a humanitarian initiative filled with hope, Al-Gad Relief Foundation in cooperation with the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), organized a special event for Palestinian children under the title "Unbreakable Bonds", as part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to provide psychological support to children affected by war.
The event reached 140 participants from various areas including 6th of October City, Faisal area, and Nasr City, as well as a number of orphaned children. The day featured a variety of joyful activities such as singing some of Palestinian anthems, games, and the distribution of ice cream, popcorn, and cotton candy.
Entertaining performances added to the cheerful atmosphere, including puppet shows, a magician, a clown act, and a traditional Tanoura dance
This initiative was not merely a duty fulfilled, but a deeply human message a testament to the power of solidarity, empathy, and extending a hand to children who deserve life, joy, and hope.

“Eid Joy” Activity in the Obour Area.
Believing that giving knows no bounds, Al-Gad Foundation organized the Eid ‘s Joy celebration in Al-Obour area on Friday, May 2, 2025.
225 individuals from Sudanese families attended the event which featured a variety of fun-filled activities for children, including dance and singing performances, exciting games and , and a lively clown show.

نشاط Red Nose Emergency Smile .
Al-Gad Foundation, in collaboration with the Red Noses team, organized a recreational event titled Red Nose Emergency Smile at the October Office on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
The event targeted 60 children of Palestinian, Sudanese, and Eritrean nationalities. The activities included a comedy show featuring clowns, followed by games, singing, and dancing with the children. At the end of the event, gifts were distributed, and memorable photos were taken.
We were truly delighted to see the children so happy and full of laughter throughout the day. We wish them continued joy and happiness.

Annual Ramdan Iftar Party in the Giza region.
Al-Gad Foundation held its Annual Community Iftar in the Giza region on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
This humanitarian gathering brought together 1,000 individuals from families residing across the Giza area, representing diverse nationalities united by the shared bonds of human solidarity, including Syrian, Sudanese, and Palestinian communities, alongside a dedicated team of volunteers, organizers, coordinators, and supporters.
Families were welcomed and efficiently guided to their designated seats at tables thoughtfully arranged and labeled with their names and the number of family members, ensuring a smooth and organized reception process.
The program commenced with the resonant call to prayer in the Damascene style, followed by a selection of Ramadan nasheeds performed by the nasheed ensemble. The evening also featured an insightful address delivered by Dr. Mulham Al-Khan, Chairman of the Board.
In a heartfelt tribute, a commemorative video was presented in memory of the late Mr. Anas Mustafa Loulah, Head of the Finance Department, honoring his invaluable dedication and lasting contributions to the المؤسسة, as remembered by members of the administrative team.
A dedicated children’s area was arranged under the supervision of committed volunteers, offering a range of engaging activities including a magician and clown performance, specially designed games, interactive competitions, and family-friendly entertainment segments aimed at creating a joyful atmosphere for all attendees.
The event concluded with celebratory nasheeds marking Syria’s victory, as smiles filled the faces of those present, reflecting the warmth and unity that defined the evening.

Orphans’ Iftar in Obour City.
Al-Gad Relief Foundation organized an Iftar for orphans and their mothers in Al Obour city on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. We gathered around the Iftar table in a warm family atmosphere. The event was not just an Iftar, but a day full of entertainment and amazing performances. It began with the call to prayer and some traditional Inshad, followed by entertainment activities that included magic shows, a clown performance that brought smiles to the children's faces, a tanoura dance, and a competition with prizes. Gifts, toys, and Eid clothes were distributed to the children, and in appreciation for the mothers, gifts were also distributed to them. This Iftar was attended by 250 orphans of Palestinian, Sudanese, and Syrian nationalities.

In a remarkable humanitarian initiative,Al Gad Foundation launched the "We are grateful, Egypt " campaign. The campaign included a small Iftar meals of dates and water for fasting people on Maghrib prayer during the holy month of Ramadan in the October region, to express feelings of love and gratitude to the brotherly Egyptian people, out of our belief in the importance of cooperation and social solidarity in this holy month.

Volunteers’ Iftar in Obour City.
Al-Gad Foundation organised a special Iftar for the new volunteers on Tuesday, 11/3/2025, which combined familiarity and cooperation. The meeting included an introduction session between the Volunteers and staff, in addition to a speech delivered by Dr. Molham, the Board Director, where the upcoming Ramadan activities that will be held during the holy month were discussed.
The meeting was a great opportunity to promote the spirit of giving and volunteering in Ramadan, and we look forward together for more meaningful events

Closing of the Short Migration Film Festival
Al-Ghad Relief Foundation participated in the closing of the Short Migration Film Festival organized by IOM, held at the main headquarters of the Egyptian Red Crescent in Nasr City.
The celebration featured a remarkable performance by the children of Al-Ghad Educational Center, which impressed all attendees and organizations, in addition to a musical performance by the Abu Shaar band. Notably, the event was covered by more than seven news channels and websites, highlighting the foundation’s participation.

Recreational Activity Titled “A Syrian Coffee with a Palestinian Flavor”.
Al-Gad Foundation for Development and Relief hosted an "Syrian Coffee Cup with a Palestinian Flavour" entertainment activity on Wednesday, December 24, 2024. This event was designed to empower and provide social support to newly arrived Palestinian women in Egypt, aligning with the Foundation's mission.
Fifteen women participated in the event. The program included a Psychological to psychosocial support and guidance on social integration. Furthermore, the event facilitated cultural exchange, showcasing customs and traditions, and fostering understanding and rapprochement between Syrian and Palestinian cultures. A short video highlighting significant landmarks of both countries was also presented.

.Special trip for Palestinian children to a zoo
To affirm our commitment to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian children affected by war and providing them with psychological support, Syria Algad Foundation organized a special trip for Palestinian children to a zoo on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in the Maadi area, sponsored by the Art Narty Festival. The trip was attended by 100 individuals, including children and mothers.
The day included several enjoyable activities:
- A tour along the Nile River.
- Feeding the animals.
- Swimming activities for childre.
- A session of illustrated storytelling.
- Entertainment activities and games.
- Face painting.
- Painting on transparent boards with colors.
Gifts were distributed to the children to bring joy to their hearts at the end of the day. We were glad to see them happy and we wish them continued joy and happiness.

.Recreational Event in Partnership with “Magic for Smiles,” Featuring Magician Jimmy Geberish
SAl-Gad Foundation for Development and Relief held an entertainment day in cooperation with magic for smiles Foundation, hosted by the magician Jamie Jibberish, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, as part of the Foundation’s plan to implement activities related to psychological support and self-confidence building,
Palestinian children between the ages of 9 and 12 were targeted, and the event was attended by 30 children and 10 women.
This activity aims to increase interaction (imagination, concentration, analysis) and increase emotion through feelings of joy and happiness.
The first half of the event focusses on the artistic aspect and included training on how to perform tricks while the second half focusses on performance, while affecting self-confidence, in addition to competitions for children and mothers and masque decorations that children enjoy using by taking souvenir photos for the day.
Prizes and gifts were distributed at the end of the day.
We were glad to see them happy as we drew smiles on their faces.

Concrete Workshop in Collaboration with the “Daf’” Initiative for Elderly Care Across Diverse Nationalities
Syria Algad Foundation organized manual workshops for elderly people of different nationalities, such as Syrian, Sudanese, Eritrean, and Yemeni in cooperation with the “Daffa” Initiative, as an initiative to enhance social cohesion and skills development. 45
Participants attended the workshops and they were taught the art of making handicrafts from gypsum and concrete. These activities are not limited to providing an enjoyable time, but also contribute to their economic empowerment by creating the possibility of selling their handmade products.

“Safe Childhood” Initiative.
Syria AlGad Relief Foundation started a distinctive initiative in cooperation with the "Safe Childhood" initiative to integrate Syrian and Sudanese children aged between 7 and 13 years old into Egyptian society.
The initiative includes a set of psychosocial activities and positive parenting sessions for mothers, which aim to enhance children and mothers' relationships in addition to support a quicker integration with the hosting community and other nationalities.
The first activity of the initiative included 20 children of both nationalities accompanied by their mothers.

Recreational Training in Collaboration with the LIFE Initiative for Individuals of Diverse Nationalitie.s
On Sunday, December 1, 2024, Al-Gad Foundation for Development and Relief conducted an entertainment training in cooperation with "Life" Initiative, aimed at ensuring a safe space for youth to do sports activities, where the activity targeted all nationalities of both genders aged between 18 and 30 years.
The training also aims at raising awareness to overcome gender-based violence to break the barrier of fear by spreading awareness about overcoming obstacles, and how to deal with them through sports activities, theatre and musical performances.

Launch of the Safe Space Project in Faisal Area
Al-Ghd Relief Foundation achieved notable progress in 2017 across various areas, including the implementation of high-quality projects, the expansion of its network of partnerships with local and international entities, and the strengthening of an institutional approach based on efficiency and continuous development. This progress has enhanced the Foundation’s ability to respond to growing humanitarian needs and to reach a wider segment of Syrian beneficiaries in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In this context, the Foundation continued to develop its relief and development programs to cover multiple sectors, including psychosocial support, women’s empowerment, child protection, as well as education and vocational training programs. These efforts contribute to improving livelihoods and promoting self-reliance. The Foundation has also been committed to adopting best practices in project management to ensure sustainable and effective impact.

.Distribution of Mother’s Day Gifts to Mothers
Thanks to our mothers, life blossoms and is illuminated by their light. They are the backbone of society—through them we find comfort and clarity carrying within them boundless love, tenderness, and sacrifice. They are inexhaustible springs of compassion and security, giving endlessly without expecting anything in return.
Syria Al-Ghad Foundation celebrates Mother’s Day on the 21st of March each year in recognition of mothers and their vital role in building and sustaining society. As part of its commitment to supporting female heads of household and standing by them, the Foundation conducted surprise visits to a number of mothers in Obour City and 6th of October City, presenting them with symbolic gifts. We were delighted to see their joy and heartfelt smiles.
Syria Al-Gad Relief Foundation extends its wishes of health and safety to all mothers and prays for mercy and forgiveness for those who have passed away.
