During the month of giving, the values of generosity and solidarity are renewed. Tomorrow’s Syria Relief Foundation, in cooperation with the Muslim World League, distributed Ramadan vouchers to Syrian, Palestinian, and Sudanese families in Egypt. The distribution covered Obour City, 6th of October City, Giza areas, and 10th of Ramadan City. Each family received two vouchers with a total value of EGP 2,000, redeemable at Carrefour stores.

Al-Gad Foundation for Development and Relief distributed 50 blankets to 25 Sudanese families, with two blankets provided to each family, through a generous donation from one of our supporters. The distribution took place at the October Office.

Al-Gad Foundation in collaboration with PCRF organized a special event for Palestinian children titled “Unbreakable Bonds.” The event brought together 300 participants, including 210 children, and featured a wide array of entertaining activities that created an atmosphere of joy and excitement. Children enthusiastically took part in interactive competitions, while a dazzling Tanoura performance captivated the audience with its vibrant colors and energy. A clown show added laughter and smiles to the children’s faces, and a traditional Palestinian Dabke performance brought heritage to life, evoking a sense of pride and cultural connection among the children and their families. The celebration also included henna art for the children’s hands and cheerful face painting. At the end of the day, gifts were distributed to all children, leaving lasting smiles on their hearts. On World Refugee Day, we come together not only to tell stories of pain, but to write together new chapters of hope and convergence. Because asylum is not the end of the road, but a new beginning full of determination and dignity and the search for a homeland within hearts. In celebration of this deep humanitarian occasion, Al-Gad Foundation organized an activity, which was attended by 60 people of Syrian, Palestinian and Sudanese families, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. as part of the Foundation's plan to provide psychological support to families affected by wars. This activity represents a painting of cultural diversity and true integration. There were distinctive activities such as the children's swimming , various competitions and questions that brought together the three cultures in an atmosphere of joy, interaction, and getting to know different traditions.

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, Al-Gad Foundation distributed 206 shoes to Palestinian children residing in the Haram and Faisal areas of Giza, on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Our goal is to ensure that every child feels the joy of Eid. Al-Gad Foundation distributed 60 blankets to 60 Palestinian families in cooperation with Mashwar Development Foundation on 15 January 2025 at Fursan Al-Ghad Educational Center in 6th of October City.

Al-Gad Foundation, in cooperation with the Muslim World League, distributed Ramadan vouchers to Syrian families in Egypt, reaching 2,729 households in 6th of October City, Obour City, and 10th of Ramadan City. Each family received three vouchers with a total value of EGP 1,500, redeemable at “Kheir Zaman” and “Metro” retail outlets, on Wednesday, 26 February 2025.

As part of a meaningful humanitarian initiative, the Syrian community, through Al-Ghad Foundation, launched the “Thank You, Egypt” campaign during the holy month of Ramadan in the areas of 6th of October and Obour, expressing sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Egyptian people.

The Obour Office organized a clothing fair at its premises, where garments were distributed to Syrian families affected by the Sudan war, as well as to Sudanese families who had arrived after being affected by the conflict, in coordination with BESTEC Organization for Sudanese families.

Al-Ghad Foundation, in collaboration with donors, contributed to covering a number of urgent surgical procedures for the most vulnerable individuals in the Obour area.

The 6th of October Office distributed monthly financial assistance

On Tuesday, 13/06/2023, Al-Ghad Foundation, through its Obour Office, in cooperation with the office of the World Relief and Care Organization affiliated with the Muslim World League in Egypt,

The Obour Office distributed the second and third lists of May monthly sponsorships, covering 151 beneficiary families with a total value of EGP 176,000. The lists included the most vulnerable families residing in Obour and El Shorouk, identified through field and needs assessments.

Al-Ghad Foundation organized a clothing fair in Obour City, offering winter and summer clothing at Al-Ghad School, with the support of several volunteers. The fair targeted newly arrived families in Egypt as well as the most vulnerable households. Clothing distribution took place over two days, Wednesday 25/01/2023 and Saturday 28/01/2023.

On Thursday, 29 December, the Al-Ghad Foundation office in 6th of October City distributed food baskets to newly arrived individuals in Egypt, under the supervision of four volunteers from the October Office.

In cooperation with Watan Foundation, Syria Al-Ghad Foundation organized a clothing distribution fair in 6th of October City targeting families who had recently arrived in Egypt in recent years.

As part of the Relief activities, Syria AlGad Foundation, in cooperation with a number of donors, has met the urgent needs of some of the Palestinians families during the month of June, as part of humanitarian initiatives to alleviate their suffering. The Foundation has distributed electrical appliances, cash assistance, children’s clothes, and food baskets in different governorates.

Al-Ghad Foundation, through its Obour office, sponsored four orphaned children with no caregiver, at a total cost of EGP 44,290.

Meat parcels were distributed, mattresses were provided, and accommodation was secured for newly arrived families in Egypt.

On Sunday, 09/10/2022, and Tuesday, 11/10/2022, the Obour Office distributed the second and third lists of monthly sponsorships, covering 160 beneficiary families with a total value of EGP 174,600. The lists included the most vulnerable families identified through field assessments and needs evaluations. In addition, EGP 5,000 was covered for medical treatment involving eye injections for damage in the right eye of a woman from a newly arrived family. Furthermore, EGP 1,500 was covered for a corneal stabilization procedure for an elderly woman, following a medical assessment of her case.

On Wednesday, 05/10, a total amount of EGP 53,300 was distributed to 50 of the most vulnerable families, following a field assessment and needs evaluation. In addition, each family received a meat parcel and a box of chocolate. On Sunday, 09/10, 30 meat parcels (2 kg each) were distributed to 30 newly registered families who had not benefited from previous meat distributions. The children’s football club also continued its activities with strong participation, involving 30 children of different nationalities, held on Saturday 01/10 and Saturday 08/10. Furthermore, the second community activity session targeting women in the Faisal area was conducted, attended by 10 women, in cooperation with BESTEC Organization, on Sunday 02/10.

, 115 meat parcels (each weighing 2 kg) were distributed to 115 families who had recently arrived in Egypt. These families were selected due to their lack of access to existing assistance programs available to Syrians. monthly cash assistance was provided to 51 vulnerable families, including elderly individuals, female- or child-headed households, and newly arrived families. It is noted that most newly arrived families are in urgent need of winter assistance (such as blankets and mattresses), as their homes remain largely unfurnished.

145 meat parcels (2 kg each) were distributed to newly arrived Syrian families in Egypt, as they were unable to benefit from assistance provided by the World Food Programme (WFP) and UNHCR. The distribution took place during the first week of October, over Tuesday and Wednesday.

In coordination with the management of Al-Ghad Foundation, on 05/08/2022, a young man living alone in Egypt was supported after being admitted to the hospital two days earlier following an accident that resulted in facial fractures and lung contusions.

The Al-Ghad Foundation, through its Forsan Al-Ghad School in 10th of Ramadan City, conducted a clothing distribution on Saturday, September 10, 2022, providing clothes to 55 Syrian families residing in Ismailia City.

Al-Gad Relief Foundation organized the Iftar for orphans and their families in Al-Obour on April 14, 2022 in an effort to draw a smile on the orphans’ faces. The ceremony was attended by 200 families of orphans. The ceremony began with a chanting segment. After breakfast, the magician's games section was presented, in addition to the competitions and games section, in which all those present participated, and they won simple prizes. All thanks to everyone who supported and contributed to the success of this work and for bringing joy and pleasure into the hearts of orphans.

A ceremony honoring the mothers of orphans was held under the sponsorship of Syria Al-Ghad Relief Foundation - at Syria Al-Ghad School in Al-Obour on Thursday, March 17, 2022 This is in honor of the efforts made by the mothers of orphans in raising their children, challenging the difficulties under the prevailing circumstances alone, bringing them pleasure, and highlighting their efforts in front of their children and society. More than 50 mothers were invited to the ceremony and a number of international foundations and organizations The ceremony included a series of activities and paragraphs presented by the students of Syria Al-Ghad School and a paragraph of interesting competitions to bring joy to children and mothers In addition, a short video was shown of the suffering of some women who faced it and how they overcame it. The ceremony was concluded by honoring every inspiring and sacrificing mother who faced the challenges and difficulties We would like to thank everyone who contributed to bringing joy to mothers and children on this wonderful day

Al-Gad Relief Foundation organized a free exhibition for "recycling used winter clothes" for new arrivals to Egypt at the Foundation's office in transit on December 23, 2021. The number of families who benefited was 30 families, and each person got one piece, in addition to the children's pantyhose, cotton sheets, and school uniforms. The distribution was made based on a case study of families and an assessment of their situation. Women's, men's, girls' and boys' clothes, school uniforms, shoes, children's tights, and men's underwear were distributed. Legal interviews within the refugee protection file are now taking place in the Sixth of October office with lawyers for the Egyptian Foundation for Refugee, the legal partner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. We seek to make the interviews organized and coordinated, and we provide instructions and assistance to refugees, taking preventive measures into consideration in order to complete the service perfectly. Syria Al Gad Relief Foundation is pleased to start implementing the project “Disbursing orphans’ allowances to Syrians in Egypt” in cooperation with the Muslim World League - Executive Affairs Agency - Egypt Office, which was the supporter for this project, on November 22, 2021 at the headquarters of Syria Tomorrow Foundation - October office and Al Obour office. The project will be completed on Wednesday 24/11/2021 in Damiatt area. The project includes 136 Syrian orphan families in October, Al Obour and their environs, and Damiatt. The total amount of the project is 895,000 Egyptian pounds. We were very pleased to put a smile on the faces of the orphaned children. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the completion of this work.

we are proud to organize the final conference "We Can for Women's Entrepreneurship" in cooperation with the Italian organization "MAIS" and the Italian Cooperation Organization. This is part of the achievements and activities of the “wee can” project, which aims to support and encourage women to achieve self-sufficiency by providing professional and administrative training and grants for women and entrepreneurs to help them founding their own small projects.  The conference was held in the Greek Building in Tahrir Square, on Monday, October 26, 2021. The conference included several participations and effective speeches, including: Participation of the project manager from the Italian support organization MAIS, Ms. Natasha And a speech by the Director of Syria Algad Relief Foundation, Dr. Mulham Al-Khan And a speech by the representative of the Italian Cooperation Organization, Ms. Elena  Some women (entrepreneurs) also shared with us their success stories and challenges and difficulties they faced until they could launch their own projects and become success symbols. The conference included a lunch and artistic participation. We were honored by the presence of a number of international organizations, partner institutions, Syrian and Egyptian personalities, businessmen and women who received financial grants for the project.

The free clothing fair, which started yesterday and is ongoing in Obour, is a joint initiative between Al-Gad Foundation and the Syrian Service Gathering. The fair was organized through Facebook announcements, where beneficiaries registered via the link provided in the post. They were then contacted and given a specific day and time to ensure the necessary precautionary measures were followed. The clothing offered included a variety of items—children’s, women’s, and men’s winter wear, all pre-owned. The event is expected to benefit over 800 families. We extend our gratitude to everyone who has contributed and continues to contribute to the success of this fair.

A delegation from the Ministry of Health visited Noor Al-Mustaqbal Foundation regarding the Reproductive Health Project. The visit included training on how to conduct home visits, gather necessary information, and provide adequate awareness to families in Obour City, with more than 80 women in attendance.

The joy and happiness of children is the most beautiful sight one can witness, and this is exactly what we experienced while distributing gifts to children in the educational centers located in the 6th of October area, including: Watan School Iqra School Al-Mumayazoon Center Al-‘Ulaa School Clinics Al-Awael School Al-Noor Al-Mushriq School The distribution was completed today, totaling 5,000 coloring books, 4,000 matching card games, and 4,000 COVID-19-themed playing card sets, generously provided by Plan International.

A total of 100 meals were distributed as part of the “One Ummah” initiative to 27 families registered with the Faisal Office.

Food and Health Baskets Project Al-Gad Foundation, with its outstanding team, successfully completed the Food and Health Baskets Project, achieving excellence and satisfaction from both the supporting organization and the beneficiaries. Each team member carried out their assigned tasks diligently and with full responsibility. Approximately 1,400 food baskets were distributed in 10th of Ramadan City on Monday, August 5, 2019, and around 900 food and health baskets were distributed in the Faisal area. Families were carefully selected by the Social Research Department, which worked diligently to identify those most in need in the mentioned areas. This initiative was supported and carried out in collaboration with the Islamic Relief Worldwide.

The first batch of winter aid was distributed through the #Dafa campaign, provided by Al-Ghad Relief Foundation, and distributed in Alexandria Governorate in cooperation with the Yalla Ne’marha Association.

As part of the distributions and family assistance, one of the donors contributed a sacrificial animal weighing approximately 26 kg. It was distributed among 17 families, with each family receiving a portion of about 1.5 kg. The families were selected by the Social Research Committee based on specific criteria, the most important being orphaned families who do not benefit from food assistance provided by the UNHCR. This distribution took place on Monday, January 7, 2020.

By the grace of God, the first phase of the Emergency Response Project for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic has been completed, with 1,250 food aid packages distributed. The project introduced a new approach for the foundation, using a unified phone number to receive calls and requests. More than 15 staff members and volunteers worked to update the data of all callers, assess the families’ situations, and determine their eligibility for the project. The project stood out by reaching truly needy families and delivering aid directly to their homes, leaving a positive impression on all beneficiaries. Follow-up calls were also made to families who could not be reached initially due to high call volumes during the first days of the project. God willing, today we will begin the second phase of the project, which includes providing assistance to 2,100 families using a new system. The project is expected to consist of three phases.

As part of the aid targeting those affected by the COVID-19 crisis, the Sixth of October office prepared a list of 35 families after assessing their situation through the Social Research Committee (social visits and case studies conducted by phone) to receive a meat portion of approximately 2 kg per family. The total weight of the distributed portions reached about 70 kilograms. The selected families were contacted and the distribution was carried out following proper preventive measures.

After completing several stages of the Livelihood Support Project with CRS at the Sixth of October office, the final stages of the project began today, Friday, July 10, including: Distribution of training attendance certificates Distribution of transportation allowances Distribution of mobile SIM cards Distribution of 13 tablets Distribution of boxes containing sanitizers and cleaning supplies The final number of beneficiaries is 140, with distributions scheduled for 70 beneficiaries per day. The office was also prepared and sanitized to receive beneficiaries safely, with all necessary hygiene and protective measures provided, including masks, alcohol, and similar items.

The Obour office implemented the “Eid Joy” project, distributing aid to approximately 450 families who completed their forms through the project’s online link. The distribution took place at the Obour office from July 26 to July 30, with all necessary preventive measures observed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We extend our thanks to everyone who participated in this effort and pray for continued success and prosperity.

The October office distributes the monthly sponsorships and housing support, which amount to: Sponsorships: 20,000 Egyptian pounds for 13 families Housing support: 10,000 Egyptian pounds for 13 families All necessary preventive measures were observed.

Assistance worth 39,000 Egyptian pounds was provided for the fitting of a prosthetic leg for a young man who had a poorly functioning prosthesis that caused him constant infections and prevented him from working. His case had been monitored for several months. The support was provided through the Islamic Relief Organization, which covered half of the cost, while the foundation secured the other half through donations.

As part of its developmental and relief projects, the Al-Gad Relief Foundation partnered with Al-Ulaa Educational Center to sponsor orphaned students or students effectively considered orphans, providing educational support due to the mothers’ limited financial means to educate their children. The school submitted a list of 30 student names to the foundation’s administration. The administration then forwarded these names and the students’ details to the Social Research Committee to assess their situations, visit their families, and evaluate their financial conditions. A complete report on the status of each family was prepared. The total value of the educational sponsorship amounted to 192,000 Egyptian pounds per year. We express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to educating orphaned children and ensured the continuation of their education in full.

The Al-Gad Foundation team volunteered today to help organize the distribution of 1,200 food baskets in cooperation with the International Relief Organization for our Yemeni brothers, in accordance with the procedures followed in implementing the foundation’s projects. This effort was well received by both the organization and the Yemeni community.

The Annual Iftar Ceremony – 2019 The team of Al-Gad Relief Foundation demonstrated remarkable creativity and excellence in organizing this year’s annual iftar event. The tremendous efforts made, along with the spirit of unity and cooperation among الجميع, resulted in a truly outstanding outcome that set an example to follow. The event benefited حوالي 750 individuals from Syrian families in need in Cairo, in addition to the حضور of the foundation’s partners and friends from both international and local organizations, as well as distinguished guests. Amid the Egyptian atmosphere along the banks of the Nile and the authentic Syrian ambiance, enhanced by the performances of the Abu Shaar Brothers band and their unique chants, smiles were drawn on the faces of the attendees. Through games, various activities, gifts, competitions, and an enjoyable program, joy was brought to the hearts of children and their families. The event also included honoring the Abu Shaar Brothers band in recognition of their efforts in making this event a success and for their excellence. Approximately 70 staff members and volunteers of the foundation contributed to this success. The event took place at the Social Center of Cairo University on Thursday, May 22.

On Thursday, December 26, 2024. Al-Gad Foundation for Development and Relief distributed insulin pens in cooperation with Med Global organization. It targeted individuals of various nationalities who had pre-registered through a previously announced link. Eligible recipients received 9 insulin pens each from a total of 1386, after medical record verification, with on-site medical professionals. The distribution took place at the Foundation’s offices in Haram region and Obour city.

With the grace and success of God, a joyful and well-organized wedding ceremony was held for six couples as part of “Farha Project 1,” which has been underway for over five months. The event took place at the Plaza Club Hall in Obour City. The celebration featured a performance by the esteemed Abu Shaar Brothers band, a presentation by the entertainer “Abu Ali Al-Souri,” and the participation of the couples’ families and loved ones. The ceremony also included heartfelt speeches from the foundation’s staff. An Eid clothing exhibition was held in the 6th of October area for families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, with distribution carried out under strict preventive measures.

In light of the aid directed toward those affected by the COVID-19 crisis, Syria Al-Ghad Foundation prepared a list of 35 families after assessing their conditions through the Social Research Committee in the 6th of October area, so they could receive meat portions of approximately 2 kg per family. The total weight of the distributed portions reached حوالي 70 kilograms. The selected families were contacted and the distributions were carried out in accordance with appropriate preventive measures.

Food Voucher Project 2,000 food vouchers, each worth 300 Egyptian pounds, with a total value of 600,000 Egyptian pounds, provided by the International Authority for Relief, Care, and Development. This project is part of a package of emergency response initiatives aimed at alleviating part of the financial burden faced by families under the current circumstances (the COVID-19 pandemic). On Tuesday, June 9, the distribution of 267 vouchers was completed. Families were scheduled over three days at specific, organized times to ensure safety, while implementing all preventive measures such as sanitization and wearing masks. The October Office team also contacted the targeted families in parallel with the distribution process. The office reached out to 2,000 families and organized their collection times across the remaining targeted areas.

Al-Gad Foundation provided assistance to individuals affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to help alleviate the burdens of the ongoing global crisis, wishing safety and well-being for everyone.

In collaboration with the Muslim World League's office in Egypt, Syria Algad Relief Foundation launched a financial sponsorship project for Syrian orphans. The project utilizes checks issued by Misr Bank and has been distributed to 48 pre-registered orphans residing in various locations across Egypt, including Giza, 6th of October City, Damietta, and Obour city. We hope this initiative will provide much-needed support and alleviate some of the hardships faced by those orphans who have lost one or both parents.

Syria Al-Gad Relief Foundation completed its first project for the blessed month of Ramadan, the “Ramadan Food Project.” The project was implemented over four consecutive days, from May 29 to June 1, benefiting 2,000 families selected from those who had registered.

Syria Al-Gad Relief Foundation implemented the Orphan Allowances Project for Syrian families in Egypt in partnership with the “World Islamic Relief Organization.” The project involves sponsoring 198 Syrian orphan children, with an amount of approximately 5,500 Egyptian pounds annually.

On Thursday, August 24, Syria Al-Gad Foundation launched the Eid Al-Adha Sacrifice Project in cooperation with the World Islamic Relief Organization. With extensive organization and coordination among the team, 25 calves were slaughtered and butchered, and distributed to nearly 2,500 needy Syrian families in October.
