The Obour Office distributed the second and third lists of May monthly sponsorships, covering 151 beneficiary families with a total value of EGP 176,000. The lists included the most vulnerable families residing in Obour and El Shorouk, identified through field and needs assessments.
- Emergency financial assistance totaling EGP 8,500 was provided to 4 families, including support for marriage, urgent medication, and travel cost contributions for a family affected by displacement from Sudan.
- 45 meat parcels (approximately 1 kg each) were distributed to 45 of the most vulnerable newly arrived families, with a total value of EGP 18,000.
- 20 food baskets were distributed to 20 beneficiary families.
Medical assistance included:
- EGP 10,000 for varicose vein surgery
- EGP 31,000 for cardiac catheterization with stent placement
- EGP 12,000 as part of uterine fibroid removal surgery
- EGP 10,000 for uterine fibroid removal surgery
- EGP 5,000 as part of an emergency caesarean section
The total medical assistance for the month amounted to EGP 68,000.
