Phase One of the Emergency Response Project
By the grace of God, the first phase of the Emergency Response Project for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic has been completed, with 1,250 food aid packages distributed.
The project introduced a new approach for the foundation, using a unified phone number to receive calls and requests. More than 15 staff members and volunteers worked to update the data of all callers, assess the families’ situations, and determine their eligibility for the project.
The project stood out by reaching truly needy families and delivering aid directly to their homes, leaving a positive impression on all beneficiaries. Follow-up calls were also made to families who could not be reached initially due to high call volumes during the first days of the project.
God willing, today we will begin the second phase of the project, which includes providing assistance to 2,100 families using a new system. The project is expected to consist of three phases.
