Al-Gad Relief Foundation conducted training programs over the past weeks for two groups of new volunteers in 6th of October City and Obour City. Each program lasted one month, aiming to provide volunteers with an entry point into the humanitarian field, promote integration within the community, and support gradual commitment to field work.
The training covered the following topics:
- Fundamentals of volunteering
- Effective communication skills
- Basic critical thinking skills
- Teamwork and team building
The training was attended by 15 volunteers in 6th of October City and 20 volunteers in Obour City, representing diverse ages, educational backgrounds, and cultures. Participation and engagement were positive, with many volunteers subsequently beginning to actively contribute to the organization’s activities.
